Hello my name is Marleen and I'm so happy you found my website. I'm a birth and postpartum doula living in Los Feliz and serving the Los Angeles area.  I believe that birth is a natural process that can occur without medical interventions. Though medical interventions is sometimes needed, it's my job to provide evidence based information so you can decided what is best for your birth. I provided inclusive birth and postpartum support to all genders, races, classes, sexual orientations and bodies. Everyone should experience pregnancy, birth and parenthood with out shame or guilt.

I am trained and certified by Tara Brooks Owner of Doula Trainings International (DTI). I'm was member of DTI Social Justice Steering Community, a space dedicated to amplifying the voices that are often overlooked in the birth industry, the doula profession, and society in general.I am an awardee of Frontline Doula Scholarship, allowing me to provided pro-bono birth doula support to Black families.

My other interests are cooking,animals,hiking and art.When I'm not at a birth you can find me in the kitchen. Feeding people the food I made is a way I show love. I Believe food is medicine. Healthy food can make all the difference in pregnancy, birth and postpartum. This is why I provided organic vegan meals to my clients. When I'm not in the kitchen I like to hang out with my pug, enjoy the out doors and make some art.
